Duds by Dudes is a national one stop print shop that has been taking the world by storm since 2004.
We originally got our start printing T shirts for fraternity and sorority members at the University of Colorado at Boulder but have since expanded our print techniques and our customer demographic. We have grown every single year since we started and believe it's because people love working with us so much that they come back time and time again. We make custom printing a want to, not a have to experience. Every job comes with a free smile, a complimentary high five and corney joke on the house. Oh, and we're pretty darn cool too!
Our services include screen printing, embroidery, graphic design, promotional products, banners, flyers, and much more.
If you request it, we'll get it done. We provide our customers with a knowledgeable team of experts, quality products at competitive prices and top notch customer service.
Duds by Dudes Varsity is a branch of Duds by Dudes that specializes in grade school and high school apparel, as well as athletic and varsity teams sportswear.
We work closely with schools and sports teams to create clothing and other promotional products that meet their spirit wear needs.
Is there a minimum number of shirts?
Our minimum is typically 24 pieces but we can do just a few if you ask really nicely.
Is there a maximum?
Not until the world runs out of cotton.
Do you do embroidery?
Yup!
What color shirts do you have?
Pretty much any color you can imagine. Let us know what color you need and we’ll find it for you.
What format should the art be in?
All artwork should be submitted as vector art in Adobe Illustrator, with all text outlined to prevent any font substitution. If that was a foreign language to you and your art is in another format like a jpeg, Word document, or gif, we can definitely work with that but art charges may apply. We’ll do everything we can to minimize those.
Will the Dudes design a shirt for us?
Absolutely, but you might be better off doing it yourself. Design is a tedious process, especially over email, that requires a lot of drafts and time to make sure we have your shirt looking exactly how you want it. If you have someone you can sit down with who has a basic knowledge of graphic design, you can probably save yourself a ton of time. An art charge may apply if we design your shirt for you.
What is your turnaround time?
Standard turnaround time is 10 working days from approval, but we can get them to you sooner if you get caught in a pinch.
What is your definition of "Approval"?
Approval is approval of the custom proof we’ll make for you, an official size breakdown, and at least a 50% deposit.
How much will shipping cost?
Ground shipping is free on all T-shirt orders over 24 pieces.
Do the Dudes print anything besides clothes?
Oh hell yeah we do. Besides all the clothing we offer, the Dudes can print on shot glasses, pens, mugs, lollipops, slap bracelets, and all kinds of other things. If there’s something you’re looking for just let your campus rep know or call/email us and we will hook you up.
How do you determine the price of the shirt?
There are four main factors that set the price, quantity, number of colors in the design, number of print locations, and the type of garment. The higher the quantity, the lower the price per shirt. The more colors in the design, the higher the price. If one of the colors in your design is the same as the shirt color, it doesn’t count as a color towards the total cost.
What ink colors do you offer?
Literally any color in the rainbow. Ink color matching is totally free.
How do I pay for my stuff?
You can pay by check or credit card. There is a 4% service charge on all credit card transactions.
Can I place a re-order?
Absolutely. There is no set-up charge on a reorder but the 2 dozen minimum does apply. Set ups are only waived on reorders placed in the same year.
If I don’t see something on your website can I still get it?
Totally, just give us a call and we can find it for you.
Does white count as a color?
Yes as long as the shirt isn’t white.
How’d you become so cool?
Years of hard work and making sure that we asked ourselves, “How will this affect my coolness?” before making any decisions.
Where do you make your stuff?
Most of our stuff is done out of our awesome factory in sunny San Diego, California.
Can I do half my shirts in one color and half in another color?
If you want to. As long as you don’t change the design and just switch up the color of the shirts, there is no additional charge.
Can I do half my shirts in one color of ink and the other half in another?
That is also no problem as long as the design stays the same. A color change charge may apply though.
